We are excited to get ther golf season started here at Alexandria Golf Club.  We have many programs available to accommodate all ages & skill levels.

We will be teaching the fundamentals of golf in a fun and safe environment.  Instruction will focus on short & long game skills, basic rules, etiquette, and some on-course play to showcase player's skills.

2023 will be another great year of learning & having fun on the course. We hope you'll join us!

Junior Golf Academy

June 15, 2023 - August 18, 2023

(7) Sessions & (1) Play Day

Off Dates: June 29 & 30/July 6 & 7/August 3 & 4

Cost: $120.00

Rookies (Ages 5-7) Thursdays 9:30 - 10:45/Fridays 11:00 - 12:15

The “Rookie” level of Junior Golf is all about making golf fun. We will start with chipping and putting; using games to reinforce the instruction. From there we will introduce the basics of the full swing and let them swing away!

Champs (Ages 8-10) Thursdays 8:00 - 9:15/Fridays 9:30 - 10:45
The “Champs” level will work on all aspects of the game; putting, chipping, full swing, basic rules, and etiquette. The emphasis will be on fun, as well as getting the juniors ready to showcase their skills on the golf course.

Pros (Ages 11-15) Thursdays 11:00 - 12:15/Fridays 8:00 - 9:15
The “Pro” level will combine instruction and practice sessions with fun, competitive events. We will work on all aspects of the game; short game, full swing, course management, rules, and etiquette. Every level of player will benefit from this program.

Player Notes:

• Instructors include LPGA & PGA Professionals alongside talented Collegiate & High School players from the area
• Total of 9 hours instruction and 1 Sunday Play Day will be scheduled for each group
• Students will need their own bag & golf clubs (Talk with Lisa if you need to borrow clubs for the summer-limited availability)
• Drinks & snacks will be provided after each session
• Pick your group and session time (Thursday OR Friday). This will remain the same all summer

Junior Elite League (New in 2023!)

Wednesdays 3:30 - 6:00

June 14 & 21, July 12 & 19, August 9 & 16 (6 weeks)

Cost: $120.00 (AGC Members)/$160.00 (Non-Members)

This program is designed for boys and girls, ages 10-14, who compete in tournaments & have the ability to score below 50 on 9 holes of golf.  We will focus on course strategy, goal setting, specialty shots & rules/etiquette.  The golfers will get instruction prior to playing 9 holes along with on-course instruction. Players will compete in different formats each week.
