Junior Golf at AGC

Greetings Parents and Grandparents!

We are currently in the process of formatting the Jr. Golf Academy schedule for the 2025 season. Thank you for your patience as we work to accommodate the growing number of junior golfers. We will release the schedule with weekly times on this page in the coming weeks. 

Age divisions will remain the same for the 2025 season (All skill levels welcome!) 

• Rookies - Ages 5-7

• Champs - Ages 8-10 

• Pros - Ages 11-15

Registration will open for AGC Members on April 1st and Non-AGC Members on April 8th. A link to registration for Non-AGC members will be posted here.

We will be teaching the fundamentals of golf in a fun and safe environment.  Instruction will focus on short & long game skills, basic rules, etiquette, and some on-course play to showcase player's skills.

Rookies (Ages 5-7) 

The “Rookie” level of Junior Golf is all about making golf fun. We will start with chipping and putting; using games to reinforce the instruction. From there we will introduce the basics of the full swing and let them swing away!

Champs (Ages 8-10) 

The “Champs” level will work on all aspects of the game; putting, chipping, full swing, basic rules, and etiquette. The emphasis will be on fun, as well as getting the juniors ready to showcase their skills on the golf course.

Pros (Ages 11-15) 

The “Pro” level will combine instruction and practice sessions with fun, competitive events. We will work on all aspects of the game; short game, full swing, course management, rules, and etiquette. Every level of player will benefit from this program.

Player Notes:

• Instructors include LPGA & PGA Professionals alongside talented Collegiate & High School players from the area
• Total of 9 hours instruction and 1 Sunday Play Day will be scheduled for each group
• Students will need their own bag & golf clubs (Talk with Lisa if you need to borrow clubs for the summer-limited availability)
• Drinks & snacks will be provided after each session
• Pick your group and session time (Thursday OR Friday). This will remain the same all summer

Junior Elite League

Starts June 12th

Cost (per session): $30 (AGC members)/$40 (Non-members)

Call or stop into the Pro Shop to sign up each week. Class size is limited.

• This program is geared toward the competitive Junior Golfer. (Boys and Girls)
• Ages 10 - 15 (must be able to shoot 50 or better for 9 holes)
• Golfers will get 30 min. instruction prior to competition on the golf course.
• We will focus on course strategy, goal setting, specialty shots, rules and etiquette.
